A journey to discover the rich history of northern Algeria and the breathtaking natural beauty of the Sahara Desert.
The northern region boasts some of the most beautiful Roman archeological sites in North Africa, including Djemila, set in a stunning landscape between mountains and characterized by very well preserved buildings. To the south, Lamaesis, the ancient Roman Camp of the Third Augustan Legion, and Timgad, one of Algeria’s most fascinating Roman sites, founded by Emperor Trajan in the 1st century AD and dominated by impressive arch dedicated to him.
This travel also includes a visit to Algiers, with its charming old town and Kasbah, and the site of Tipasa, a Roman city overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Afterwards, the journey moves into the heart of the Sahara Desert, where off-road vehicles explore spectacular sandstone rock formations carved by wind and sand-towers, pinnacles, canyons, and rock cathedrals at Tikobaouine. The dunes of Erg Admer represent the true heart of the desert, with soft, mesmerizing shapes that leave visitors breathless.
Overnights are planned in simple yet comfortable hotels in the Djanet Oasis, offering an authentic and immersive experience in the captivating Sahara Desert.
