Travel in Oman, between water and sand, the complementary elements that give life, each with its own unique characteristics, to the same image of freedom.
A journey through the scents of spices and ancient fortresses where the Indian Ocean meets the deserts of Rub’ Al Khali and Wahiba Sands to discover a unique landscape of water and sand, encountering desert nomads and fishermen in the shared quest for grazing lands, oases, and markets.
Starting from Muscat, with its blend of tradition and modernity. Moving away from the capital, the scenery changes: from luxurious palaces to small houses, until breathtaking landscapes appear: canyons, gorges, oases, and villages of mud-brick houses.
From Nizwa, the ancient capital, you will venture into the Wahiba Sands desert. Here begins another adventure: three nights of wild glamping (in the desert) to experience an authentic and accessible experience for everyone, ideal for those seeking their first contact with the desert. Endless landscapes, surprising encounters, and moments of contemplation await you in this simple and safe adventure.
Then, arrival at the sea on the stunning Bar al Hikman Peninsula, where white dunes fade into foamy waves, shaping the coast and creating an atmosphere of timeless peace and wonder. In Ras al Hadd, on the far west of the Arabian Peninsula, we will stay for two nights to enjoy the sea, relax, and take an exciting boat trip. Afterwards, return to Muscat and then back to Italy.
